Welcome to Brownsville, TX!
"On the Border, by the Sea, and Beyond!"
The Early Childhood Music and Movement Association is excited to host our 2024 convention in the beautiful Brownsville, Texas, in the culturally rich Rio Grande Valley. The city's location and cultural heritage have positioned it as a key connection between the United States and Mexico and the state of Texas and Tamaulipas, Mexico. Brownsville has a population of approximately 200,000, and its sister city, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, exceeds 750,000. Together with the rest of Cameron County, Texas, this area offers Lagunas, beaches, wildlife conservation, city nightlife, and rocketships (SpaceX is minutes away). We hope you join us in the unique part of the United States!
